Not All Steam Cleaners Are Created Equal!

WHAT IS A
VAPOR STEAM CLEANER?
First, you need to know that they are not vacuums and they are not carpet
shampooers nor are they
pressure washers. A vapor steam cleaner is much like what it sounds like. A
Vapor Steam
Cleaner is a device that generates steam in an internal boiler creating super
heated steam vapor. This super heated vapor
is focused out to any of the various cleaning attachments for superior cleaning
power. Vapor steam cleaners, sometimes called "dry vapor cleaners" put out pure
steam, not hot water. This allows for intense indoor cleaning without making a

WHAT CAN I USE A STEAMER FOR? Although their are hundreds, if not thousands
of potential applications for a steamer one of the main advantages of steam
vapor is that it allows for low cost, highly effective, sanitary deep cleaning

popular. They are virtually a standard item in homes across Europe. Only in the
last few years has the power of vapor steam cleaning begun to become known to
the American public and their popularity is growing fast. As more people use
them and tell their friends, more and
more people want them. In fact, many of our sales are from friends and family of

doubt that they are wonderful machines. Someday soon we expect that they will

CLEANERS EASY TO OPERATE?
Absolutely. They are very easy to use and most find they are a lot  of
fun to clean with. To use one of our state of the art steam cleaners you simply
open the filler cap, simply add clean water and replace the cap. Now plug the
unit in, push the on button and let it warm up. Now all you have to do is plug
in the
attachment of your choice and begin cleaning. All of our steam cleaners come

WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR IN A STEAMER?
This is a great question. Most steam cleaner sales
people don't even know the right answer. Often they ramble on about warranties,
shipping, the manufacture or even the power consumption of a unit. The truth is
that there are two main things that make a great steamer. First and most
important of all, the size of the boiler. Second, the quality of the
accessories. A vapor steam cleaner is virtually useless without the right
accessories. The best way for us to illustrate the importance of the boiler size
is this. The more water in the boiler, the more steam bubbles being created
every second. The more steam being created the better the continuous flow, and
refresh rate of the steam. Even a tiny boiler can be programmed to yield high
pressures (at first burst). Inside virtually every steamer is a pressure
regulator. This controls the maximum steam pressure, not the
continuous flow of steam. The amount of water boiling determines the steady flow of steam you
get. Example, lets take two steamers. One with a 1 liter of water at say, 1500
watts. The other with 4 liters of water at the same power. They are both rated
for 65 PSI and they will both give the exact same burst of 65 PSI when you first
pull the trigger. The smaller boiler steamer will drop in pressure much, much
faster then the larger one and will also run steady at a much lower pressure.
The larger 4 liter boiler has more water boiling which means more steam bubbles
being generated every second which means a better, stronger flow of steam.
The bottom
line is the bigger the boiler, the better the steam flow. A decent boiler should
never be less then 1.5 liters. A good-sized boiler is 2 liters. A truly
powerful boiler is 3 liters and a top of the line boiler size is 4 liters. Of
course, all this said the quality of the unit is also critical. Our finely

DON'T BE FOOLED:
There is a lot of misinformation out there. Be
warned, some are claiming that their boilers are bigger then they really are.
Example: Our 4 liter steamer is really a 5-liter by volume. We don't call it a
5-liter even thought we could. It has 5 liters of room inside of the boiler but only holds 4
liters of water. The extra liter is a steam pocket. Some are calling their units
4 liters when they are really only have a 3-liter water capacity. Be aware of
this deceptive practice and ask questions like how much water does the unit
actually hold.
Another
deceptive practice steam cleaner dealers are using is telling their customers
the internal steam temperature (temp. in the boiler) rather then telling them
what the temperature is at the nozzle tip! Watch out for this common trick. A
lot of ads point to specifications and are misleading customers by claiming
steam temperatures of some 300+ degrees when in fact, by the time the steam
reaches the nozzle tip it is often closer to 200 degrees F. They are only telling
you the temperature in the boiler (not important) and not telling you
what temperature comes out of the steamer head. Being on TV doesn't make a
product good. We get calls all the time for people looking for us to service
there newly purchased, high visibility, TV advertised steamers. Of course, we do
not and will not sell this kind of low quality junk. Frankly, I'm
shocked at the amount of calls we get from customers asking us to repair OTHER

We reviewed
some of those little home steam cleaners. You have probably seen them, they look
like an odd shaped teapot, coffee pot or some other slick looking little hand
held unit. Also, some of the units on wheels are in fact nothing but a beefed up
LOOKING dinky steamer. You can tell this by the size of the boiler. Ask how much
water a unit holds. Anything less then 1.5 liters is very small. Many only hold
a few cups of water. These small steamers all have a few things in common.
Fast DROP-OFF in pressure, LOW pressure, Short run times and
poor accessories. The only advantage to these units is there ultra low cost. Simply put, they have virtually none of
the cleaning power you want.  We do offer one ultra low cost, hand held steamer
for those on a budget,
it’s called the
Peppa. It is useful for those looking to try steam without
investing a lot of money. They are okay for small jobs and detail cleaning but we recommend a bigger
unit. Although our hand held unit can have its uses, it, like most of the little steamers on the market were created to look cute
and be low cost. What good is a cute, low cost steamer if it doesn't have the
power you need to clean?

CAUTION:
Most of these little steam cleaners you see on the internet, home shopping networks
and on TV info-mercials don't
even tell you the operating PSI, the boiler size or estimated temperature at the
nozzle tip.
Simply put,
the PSI is the pounds per square inch of steam pressure that comes out of the
tip of the steamer. Many of these little steamers have pressures well under 30
PSI. You shouldn't even consider a system with that little power. Some
look-alike steam cleaners on wheels may seem
nice but
again, they often have small steam generators (boilers) and very low pressure of around 35
PSI or they don't even tell you the
PSI at all! Remember, if
they won't tell you,
they don't want you to know! Even our little, low cost
hand held steamer has a powerful 40-PSI burst. Our low cost vapor steam

is true power for blasting clean tile, grout and many other items. Just because
it has wheels doesn't mean it has power! |

buzz
words like "HEAVY DUTY" or "HIGH POWER". How many volts or watts a steamer uses
doesn't tell you the whole story either. The internal regulators, as well as the size of the
boiler control heat and pressure. It may have more watts and still have less
steady working power or it may have very short run time between refills.
Check the PSI, boiler
size, accessories package, and steam temperature at the nozzle tip. Also check
the water capacity & the duration of use between fills. If they don't
tell you the PSI, duration of use and the steam temperature, then they simply

About Some
Competitors:
We would rather not discuss our competitors but
after reading some of their ads we feel it is necessary. Some of our
competitors are making outrageous or even false claims about our products as
well as their products. First, the ridiculous idea that some home cheap
plastic extension poles are better then heavy gauge, insulated, TRUE
COMMERCIAL metal extension poles. The metal poles cost us more then the
cheap plastic ones. If plastic were better we would be the first to switch
to it. Plastic is not better. If you are paying for commercial quality you
deserve commercial parts, not cheap flexible plastic! So called comparison
charts. There are a few companies using comparison charts. On these charts
they often have false information about other companies products
specifications including ours. Be aware, that these are not fair
independent reviews. They are written by the company owners and are designed
to convince you to buy their product line over anyone else's. The truth is
they have no desire to point you to any other product even if it is better
and/or less expensive.
Some
claim their technology is somehow better. The fact is that our manufacturer
was the first line of standard US 110/120 voltage steam cleaners ever to
enter the US. Remember, Europe uses 220 volts. The United States uses
110/120 volt outlets. They started this line of steamers back in 1989 and
have been leading the industry ever since. This early start has given them
time to refine the 120V technology. Most of the others in the industry have
only been around a few years. This
is problematic at best. NOTE: One of our competitors is now claiming
to have been the first steamer product line in the US. This is based on that
fact that they once carried OUR PRODUCT LINE back in 2002. Now they are
supplied by a completely different manufacture new to the US. This is
extremely deceptive to say the least. Their manufacturer was not the first
in the US. They don't carry our brand anymore! We consider this a flat out
lie.
Next, the
idea that a longer hose is always better. The simple fact is that the longer
the steam hose the more heat it loses. This is not open for debate. It is
simple physics. Some claim you can use a 22' hose and still maintain the
same heat and power at the nozzle tip. We regard this as absolutely false.
We offer 7' and 12' insulated hoses with our commercial
steamers. Any longer and you begin losing heat at the nozzle tip. We know
that power is everything to our commercial
users so a well-balanced steamer matters. Also, since the units are on
wheels there is no need for such a huge, low heat hose.
Next,
warranties. Others claim they have the best warranty in the industry. Well
if they think 1 year, 5 years or 10 years is better then our manufactures
lifetime warranty perhaps they are right. There is no doubt our warranty is
better and our service is outstanding.
Next,
heating elements. One of our competitors is claming that having a removable
heating element is somehow to your advantage. IT IS NOT. What good is having
a heating element guaranteed for 10 years when you can have the entire
boiler, INCLUDING the heating element covered for the lifetime of the unit?
Answer, our competitor is making another misleading claim. Furthermore, our
solid stainless steal boilers and fixed heating elements are perfect in
their SIMPLE & DURABLE design. Most agree overcomplicating a key component
like a boiler is a recipe for disaster.
Finally,
we wanted to point out that our manufacture exclusively manufactures vapor
steam cleaners, steam vacuums and vacuum systems. Most of our competitor’s
factories only do this as a sideline. Many of our competitors specialize in
the manufacture of coffee makers, ironing systems, electric grills and a
whole host of unrelated products. Our manufacturer specializes in the area
of steam vapor and is one of the largest vapor steam factories in the
world boasting a production capacity of some 40,000 units a month! This
