The VC5000-Ci  Is Maximum Power!  This continuous fill vapor steam cleaner (sometimes called the VS 5000-Ci) is truly a maximum power, full commercial / industrial grade dry vapor steamer. Our 5000-Ci Elite Class Steamer features a continuous fill steam generation system with a massive 1800-WATT, 120Volt heating core. When we say our 5000-Ci is maximum power we are serious. It's powerful 1800 watt core is indeed maxed out! How so? Because you simply can't get any more then 1800 watts out of a standard 15amp household outlet, without tripping a breaker. So when you want maximum steam power, steam generation and recovery while still being able to plug into a standard outlet, the 5000-Ci fits the bill.

     What is continuous fill? Simply put a continuous fill vapor steam cleaner has two tanks. One is a steam generation tank (boiler) and the other is the cold water refill tank. Since the refill tank is NOT pressurized you have to ability to add water even while working, without shutting the steamer off. Gone are the days of having to cool the steamer down before refilling it and then waiting for it to warm back up. You can actually add water on the fly, even while the steamer is being used. This intuitive twin tank technology makes it all possible. Also note that when the refill tank runs low you will hear a beeping sound and see a flashing orange light on the steamers panel indicating its time to add water. Adding water can take as little as 30 seconds and you are back up and steaming immediately! This powerful time saving feature can save countless man hours on the job and ultimately, save you money. The 5000-Ci, shown above has its refill tank built in. That is, it is inside of the units housing. Notice the black filler cap toward the back of the steamer. This is where you add the water for the steam generation system. The white tank on the back of the 5000-Ci is for your hot chemical or hot water injection system.

      The VC 5000-Ci is the big brother to the VC 4000-C. If you want to learn more about this unit you can watch the 4000-C video here. The only difference between the two units is that the 5000-Ci has the added benefit of an external chemical/water tank for the injection system. Instead of drawing water from the boiler and internal refill tank during hot water injection, it takes it from the white tank shown on the back of the unit. This external refill tank can also be filled with your favorite cleaning fluid. Although super heated dry vapor steam is a powerful cleaning agent, when combined with a simple hot detergent, it can make a very big difference in many cleaning application

Hot Chemical & Hot Water Injection System!  The 5000-Ci also comes in with an integrated super heated, hot detergent and hot water injection system. With a press of a button (located right on the steam gun) you can spray out either super heated dry vapor steam, super heated soap/detergent OR super hot water. Your detergent/soap OR water is mingled together with the steam for superior cleaning and rinsing results. Just fill the bottle on the back with either your favorite non-flammable detergent/soap or simple water. Why detergent injection? While steam alone is a very affective cleaning tool with thousands of potential applications, there are in-fact some instances where hot soap injected into the steam flow while scrubbing makes all the difference in the world. A little soap can go a long way! A couple of examples. Greasy commercial kitchen items like a deep-fryer or grill, cleaning greasy machine parts in factories,  bubble gum removal on sidewalks or the application of wash-n-wax fluid when washing cars. The applications are endless. Here are just a few simple tips on using the chemical injection system. Note: it is your responsibility to read ALL safety warnings when using ANY cleaning or chemical products with the chemical injection system.  NOTE: Be sure the chemicals are not thick. They should have a water like consistency when added to the tank. Do not mix dry cleaning products directly in the tank. Always mix them in a separate container and be sure they are dissolved. A very popular low cost product is good old fashion 'Dawn Liquid Dish Detergent' diluted with water. It cuts grease very well. Any liquid wash-n-wax liquid properly diluted works well. You can use Simple Green, Orange Clean, sanitizing agents as well as many other products. Avoid using overly acidic products and never use flammable products! When using harsh detergents/chemicals it is a good idea to empty the rear tank after use and run some water through the system.

Unlike many other brands this unit comes with true professional quality, insulated heavy duty aluminum extension poles. The poles are designed to be contractor tough! They allow for extended reaches above your head or stand while you work. Also included is the large floor brush. This high quality impact resistant tool has 3 functions. It is a large steam scrub brush, a squeegee and attach the included cloth and you have a powerful steam mop perfect for hard surface sanitizing & cleaning. Note: this mop head has spring loaded clips (see picture) that allow you to attach your favorite cloth type. From micro-fiber to cotton, the choice is yours.      PEST CONTROL: Bed Bugs are a big issue these days. Everyone wants them gone and gone NOW. One of the greatest options for killing bed bugs, lice, flees and other biological contaminates is super heated steam. When done right steam kills both the insect and the eggs on contact. Our new Bug Zapper Steam pan (see picture to left) does an amazing job of encapsulating and concentrating steam to kill bugs. We also have a new tool for combating drain flies in restaurants. These pesky flies live in the sludge found close to the top of kitchen drains and can become a big problem. Simply place the steam cone (picture to left) over the drain and steam for about 4 minutes. This will super heat the pipe and kill the insects. Often the steam will kill what chemicals wont! You see, the chemicals don't penetrate the thick layers of food and grease often found in these drains. By super heating the drain head, you cook everything in it including the flies and their eggs. The cone can also be used for bed bug eradication and wall paper and sticker removal.

     Vinyl Lettering & Wall Paper Removal: The Bug Zapper is also the perfect wall paper remover. Simply place the pan on the area of the wall to be cleared, steam and peel off the wall paper. You can also use this approach for stickers or vinyl lettering on trucks & cars. I used steam to strip my old work truck of the company vinyl lettering logos and phone numbers. It is a great alternative to a heat gun with less risk. NOTE: You do not need the steam pan to do this work. You can use the included large floor brush or triangle brush with a cloth over it. That is how I removed my vinyl lettering. The steam pan simply encapsulates the heat better. Both the fly cone and the bug pan can be used for either of these jobs but are not required.

    Cleaning Grout, How Fast? How fast can a Vapor Steam Cleaner clean grout? That is one of the most common questions we are asked. Check out our time test video to see grout cleaning timed live! Typically, you can clean the floor grout of one foot by one foot square (1'x1' or large = most common floor tile size) tiles at an average rate of 200 to 300 square feet per hour. Naturally, that depends on the tile size (larger tile = less grout =  often cleans faster) grout condition, steamer power, working conditions and other factors. In the time test video we cleaned 56 square feet with the VC 5000-Ci in 7 minutes, that's not including wiping or sucking up the dirty moisture left behind on the tile. With clean up time it came to10 minutes to clean the whole 56 square foot section. So lets estimate down to give the benefit of the doubt. If you had one person working the steamer covering 50 square feet approximately every 10 minutes it is safe to say you could accomplish the cleaning of 300 square feet of  per hour. Two men working with two steamers should be able to clean from 500 to 600 square feet per hour including clean up time.  If you are charging 75 cents (prices vary nation wide) per square foot you just earned from $375 to $450 for one hours labor!  There is no question, vapor steam cleaners are great for home and commercial grout cleaning.
